George Abraham

George uses his 20+ years of experience in Information Technology to serve the students and community of Greenville County, SC, as the Chief Information Officer of Greenville Technical College. He is excited for the transformative potential of technology, specifically to lift people’s lives and livelihood. Prior to his current position, George led at Central Piedmont Community College at Charlotte, NC, and at The Ohio State University at Columbus, OH. He has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, with two subsequent Masters degrees, in Industrial Engineering and in Business.

Audrey Ellis, MS. Ed. 

Since founding T3 Advisory, Audrey has taken a vocal stance on the equitable use of Generative AI in higher education, especially at community colleges, Minority Serving Institutions, and public institutions. Audrey is a co-chair of Complete College America’s Council on Equitable AI In Higher Education. She recently co-authored the playbook AI Divide and Attainment with AI, adding over 170 novel ideas of practical applications to the discussion. Audrey is focused on keeping student success and equity top of mind as institutions adapt to these new innovations and disruptions. Combining her years of experience in research, data, consulting, technology implementation, and student success, Audrey supports leaders as they leverage technology implementing process and policy changes required to achieve truly improved outcomes. 

Patrick Frontiera

Patrick Frontiera leads the Campus and IT Operations portfolio at Amazon Web Services. In this role, Patrick is responsible for ensuring that colleges and universities successfully use AWS to improve their long-term sustainability. Prior to his role at AWS, Patrick was the CIO at Loyola Marymount University, where he was responsible for ensuring that the academic technology, administrative computing, infrastructure technology, and user support teams provided services that enabled LMU's mission. Before joining higher education, Patrick was the Director of Software Development at a start-up company in Santa Barbara and an application developer at PeopleSoft, Inc.

Dr. Matteel Knowles

Vice President for Student Services at Greenville Technical College in Greenville, SC, Dr. Knowles joined the college in February 2013, having served previously as the Vice President for Student Affairs at the Technical College of the Lowcountry in Beaufort, SC, and has an extensive background as a student affairs practitioner, having served in various roles for ten years at Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, South Carolina. A Piedmont Technical College Presidential Medallion winner and recent Administrator of the Year winner for the South Carolina Technical Education Association, she is also a sought-after speaker, published author, and transformation coach. Dr. Knowles is driven by the belief that all people should have equitable access to a college education and the opportunity to completely transform their lives.
